Before the car leaves the lot
- 25+, licensed two years
- A full driver's licence held at least two years, clean of major violations for 36 months. International licences accepted with a passport.
- A card in your name
- Credit or debit card in the renter's own name with room for the deposit hold. Prepaid cards are not accepted.
- Verified identity
- Licence photo and a selfie, checked through Stripe Identity during checkout. Takes about a minute.
- Insurance that follows you
- Your own full-coverage policy extending to rentals, or protection purchased at checkout where offered. Proof requested before pickup.
Policies
The fine print, in plain English
- Deposit
- Authorised at pickup, released 3–5 business days after return.
- Mileage
- Included miles per day are listed on each car. Overage billed per mile at the rate on the car's page.
- Longer rentals
- 10% off 3+ days · 15% off 7+ days · 25% off 30 days, applied automatically in checkout.
- Delivery
- $99 within 15 miles of Channahon · $199 to O'Hare or Midway.
- Drivers
- Only the verified renter named on the agreement may drive.
- Fuel
- Returned at the pickup level, or refuelled at $8/gal plus $50.
- Late return
- $100 per hour after a 1-hour grace period.
- Cancellation
- Full refund more than 7 days out · 50% between 3 and 7 days · non-refundable inside 72 hours.
- Use
- No smoking, no pets, no track or competitive use, no towing. Tolls and tickets are passed through at cost.

Questions we get before the first rental
Who can rent?
Drivers 25 and over with a valid, unexpired driver's licence held for at least two years, a credit or debit card in their own name, and a clean recent record. Some cars require a higher minimum age; it's shown on the car's page.
Do I need my own insurance?
You need to carry your own full-coverage auto policy that extends to rental vehicles, or purchase protection at checkout where offered. We'll ask for proof of coverage before pickup.
How does the deposit work?
The security deposit is an authorisation hold on your card, placed at pickup and released after return. The amount for each car is shown before you confirm. Nothing is charged unless there's damage, a toll, a fine or overage mileage.
Can someone else drive?
No. Only the renter named on the agreement and verified through our ID check may drive. We don't offer additional drivers at this time.
Can I take the car out of state?
Yes, within the Midwest. Tell us your plans when you book; very long trips may need a mileage package.
What's the cancellation policy?
Full refund more than 7 days out · 50% between 3 and 7 days · non-refundable inside 72 hours.
Is there a minimum rental?
One day. Weekends and holidays may carry a two-day minimum, which is shown when you pick dates.
Do you deliver?
Yes. $99 within 15 miles of Channahon · $199 to O'Hare or Midway. Pickup in Channahon is always free, by appointment, 8am to 8pm every day.
